Dollhouse Elephant

Dollhouse Elephant is a dark comedic societal commentary. The film examines the social paradox of wanting to live exactly as you please, but how giving this freedom to others too means having to show compassion and consideration, potentially changing your individualistic ways. The film visualises this by following the lives of a group of neighbours sharing a building. Despite none of the inhabitants making any effort to connect, their different private habits have unforeseen consequences, forcing the neighbours to come together. While some of them learn to change their ways and get a happier life, others are unable or too blind for any real self-insight and eventually return to their old antics.
